This red carpet event will be held in Washington, D.C. What points of interest should I see while visiting our nation's capital next September?

    Dear Mrs. Yollis,

Congratulations on winning the Bammy Award!

Darius thinks you should see the White House because the president lives there. Maybe you'll see him. Also Darius thinks you should see the Lincoln Memorial because it's where people honor President Lincoln.

Theo thinks that you should see the Washington Monument because the obelisk is so tall! Maybe you can go to the top and view Washington, D.C.

Adam suggests that you see President Obama because he is the President of the United States of America!

    From,

    Darius, Theo, and Adam

  2. Dear Mrs Yolllis,

Congratulations! I'm so proud of you. You definitely deserve to be a finalist for the BAMMY awards. I'm so excited to hear that you'll be heading to Washington D.C.

As you know, my husband and I travelled to Washington D.C. after visiting you in Los Angeles in 2012. We loved it! There was so much to see and do. We enjoyed riding bicycles around the city to explore all the landmarks. Have you been there before?

You certainly deserve this honour, Mrs Yollis. You are an inspiration to students and educators across the globe!

    Your proud friend in Australia,
    Mrs Morris
